Loveland Pass Couple's Portraits
Cayley & Thomas's adventure session at Loveland Pass was all about perfect timing – and capturing the strength of their relationship.
Cayley & Thomas reached out to me about taking some portraits to celebrate their third wedding anniversary. In their inquiry, the couple explained that they hadn't eloped originally, so they were looking for some epic photos of just the two of them in nature.
They said they wanted both their love of Colorado and each other to shine through in their photos – and they said my portfolio showed that I could seamlessly capture both. I absolutely loved reading that in their inquiry, because that's exactly what I strive for!

Exploring Loveland Pass
We had an absolute blast adventuring around Loveland Pass. It is one of my favorite places to photograph as it has beautiful mountain views and multiple little lakes to explore. And it doesn't require a huge hike!
The whole time it was obvious how in love with each other Cayley & Thomas are, and we just yapped and laughed the whole session!
Fun With Outfits
Partway through the session, Cayley and Thomas changed up their outfits a bit with a jean jacket and a sweater – which was perfect, because the evening was a bit chilly.
Colorado's weather is so unpredictable, it's always a good idea to bring some flexible outfit changes or layers along for your session.
I also loved that they chose some bolder colors that really popped against the fall backdrop. I like to encourage couples to let their personalities shine through in their outfits! It's a good way to make sure your couple's portraits feel authentically "you."
