I freaking love elopements. Like with my whole heart there is nothing that brings me more joy than a couple living their best life, out in the mountains, on their wedding day. That’s what I want for every single person.
When I’m not planning or photographing or editing… you get the idea… I’m off adventuring with my husband and our dog! We love hiking, off-roading, and skiing. My absolute favorite thing to do is travel and share insane nature spots with people. I’m constantly dragging my friends on adventures (and although they may be reluctant at first they always are happy they go with)!
Eloping Was The Best Decision We Ever Made
I’m not going to sugar coat it. Planning a wedding sucked. There were tears, arguments, and a whole lot of stress. It felt like a giant fight that we couldn’t win.
All we wanted was to go adventure together in a beautiful place but it got difficult and stressful to balance what we wanted with what we thought we had to do, and what our families wanted for us. I started chatting with the couples I was photographing, and every eloping couple said they were so glad they eloped and every couple that had planned a big wedding told me to run while I could. Between these conversations and a peak in family conflict, we pulled the trigger.
We canceled everything, and took a step back. We talked about what we wanted, and planned the most epic day we could think of. Just the two of us, exploring new-to-us mountains, without stress. Epic views and wild adventures. Prioritizing us. I wouldn’t change a thing- it was perfect.

It’s hard to put into words what Sam was for us not only on our wedding day, but every step of the way throughout the process. She was our planner, our hype girl, our coordinator, our lighting expert, our director and our photographer. But so much more than that is who she is as a person. She made us feel comfortable in a way we didn’t think we could, she believed in us when we weren’t so sure, she was our friend more than our photographer. Her warmth, kindness and genuine excitement for what she does radiates through her and the pictures that she takes. She has the best eye for unique, unbelievable shots. She captured the vastness of the mountains and landscape in a way we didn’t think was possible. Our pictures bring us to tears each time that we look at them. Sam was able to capture the entire day, but more than that, capture the most important moments. She sees how the little moments are the biggest moments, and is able to encompass all of the love, emotion and joy we felt on that day in a single image. We’re blown away by our end product! When we show friends and family our pictures, they get to feel as if they were there, which is the greatest gift. She was the best choice we made in our elopement journey. You absolutely can’t go wrong with Sam! She completely made our day everything that it was, and we are beyond grateful and blessed to share in this incredible experience with her!

Heirloom Album Design
Literally my favorite thing after elopements is to design a stunning album that memorializes your epic wedding day.
Albums can be added on to your original package, or ordered post-elopement. You’ll be sent the order form to pick all the details for design! Pricing varies, beginning at $500.
High Quality Prints
Your photos deserve to make it off of a screen, and onto your walls. Your gallery will allow you to order prints and products directly from the professional printing lab I work with. But if you are looking for something specific, or want a custom designed gallery wall, shoot me a message!

I was adamant on hiring an experienced photographer that could give me something no other photographer could, and Sam checked every box and then some! I highly recommend Samantha as an adventure elopement photographer! From the moment we booked until our meeting at the trailhead, her communication was clear and reassuring. Samantha’s knowledge of the area was impressive, offering us multiple options for locations where we could hold our elopement. To sum up our experience with Sam, it would have to fall under one word: trust. She is a master with guiding you through poses, developing confidence in yourself, capturing moments that take you right back to that day, and above all else she produces a gorgeous photo gallery that you just can’t stop looking at. If you trust in her knowledge, skill, talent, and guidance I promise you will be so thankful for all of her hard work. She traveled hours, trekked through snow and mud, and got covered in rain with us just to make our photos happen. Not only did she take spectacular photos of our elopement, she was such a HUGE help as well. My now husband and I eloped without any family or friends. Sam was sympathetic to this and helped in so many ways. From something as little as helping me put on my necklace, fixing my shoe when it broke, to something as big as helping me get in my wedding dress. All the while she managed to take the most amazing photographs of our day.
When we got our gallery I was blown away. I can’t imagine our photos coming out any better. She was receptive to what shots I wanted as well as getting shots we didn’t even know we needed! With my husband and I both being POC, I was afraid about how our skin tones would photograph, and I’m telling you, with Sam, that won’t be an issue. She used natural lighting and made us glow.
