Mammoth Hot Springs Elopement

Phoenix Lu & Keion's hot springs elopement near Mammoth Lakes, California included an adorable picnic and a relaxing soak in the natural hot springs.
Under the shadow of the Sierra Nevada mountains, they spent the evening laughing, chatting, and just being themselves in nature.
Hey there! I'm Sam, Your Destination Elopement Photographer & Planner
I absolutely adore the Sierra Nevadas (and all of California's wild places!), and I would be thrilled to help make your elopement just as amazing as this one.

Picnic in front of the Mountains
Phoenix & Keion started their hot springs elopement with a picnic in a meadow, with the snowy Sierra Nevada mountains in the background.
A picnic isn't just a great way to schedule time for a meal during your elopement day – it's also a perfect opportunity for silly, personal moments with your partner (and super cute photos)!
You can pack your own picnic with all your favorite snacks, or hire a vendor that sets up custom, aesthetic picnics if you don't want to stress about it.
Meadow Portraits
After their picnic, I took some portraits of them exploring the meadow.
I loved the outfits the couple chose for their elopement! The pop of color in Keion's jacket coordinated with the dried florals, and Phoenix Lu's sweater was perfect for the slightly chilly evening.
My advice for couples choosing their elopement attire is to make sure you're comfy for any adventures you have planned, and that you feel like yourself!
And I'm always happy to help you pick an outfit that makes sense for your day as we plan your own adventure elopement.

Hot Springs Elopement
The last activity for this elopement day was a dip in a natural hot spring. They had fun splashing, laughing, and enjoying the view as the sun went down.
Especially if your elopement includes an active adventure like hiking or skiing, hot springs are the perfect relaxing way to end your day together. And it's even better when they're in a place as beautiful as the Sierra Nevada mountains!
