I freaking love elopements. Like with my whole heart. There is nothing that brings me more joy than a couple living their best life, out in the mountains, on their wedding day. That's what I want for every single person.

When I'm not planning or photographing or editing... you get the idea... I'm off adventuring with my husband and our dog! We love hiking, off-roading, and skiing. My absolute favorite thing to do is to travel and share insanely beautiful nature with other people. I'm constantly dragging my friends on adventures (and although they may be reluctant at first, they're always happy they went along)!

Eloping was the best decision we ever made

I'm not gonna sugar-coat it: planning a wedding sucked. There were tears, arguments, and a whole lot of stress. It felt like a giant fight that we couldn't win.

All we wanted was to go adventure together in a beautiful place but it got difficult and stressful to balance what we wanted with what we thought we had to do, and what our families wanted for us. I started chatting with the couples I was photographing, and every eloping couple said they were so glad they eloped, while every couple that had planned a big wedding told me to run while I could. Between these conversations and a peak in family conflict, we pulled the trigger.

We canceled everything, and took a step back. We talked about what we wanted, and planned the most epic day we could think of. Just the two of us, exploring new-to-us mountains, without stress. Epic views and wild adventures. Prioritizing us. I wouldn’t change a thing – it was perfect.

The Planning Process

Location Matchmaking

We’ll dig into climate, landscapes, and activities you enjoy/prefer. Plus, all the possibilities you’ve been dreaming about. I’ll create a custom location guide full of epic ideas and locations using those details. We’ll talk through the pros and cons of spots, or do a few rounds of guides till you find THE place.

02.
Daydreaming Details

This is all about creating a clear vision of your perfect day. We'll look at the locations/ activities you've landed on, discuss how you envision spending your time, and ideas to make your day feel even more you. We’ll tie everything together with a rough timeline!

03.
Vendor Team

Who you have around you on your elopement day matters, which is why I’m going to find the most talented and reputable vendors in the area for you. Florist, hair + makeup, adventure guides, rentals, etc. And after choosing your vendors I’ll loop them in to make sure we’re all on the same page!

04.
Final Timeline

Now that all the details have been hammered out it’s time to write it all down! We’ll make sure the timeline incorporates everything perfectly. I’ll share our finalized timeline with the vendors, triple check all the details, and make sure all of the things you want captured are written down.

Heirloom Album Design

Literally my favorite thing after elopements is to design a stunning album that memorializes your epic wedding day.

Albums can be added on to your original package, or ordered post-elopement. You'll be sent the order form to pick all the details for design! Pricing varies, beginning at $500.

High-Quality Prints

Your photos deserve to make it off of a screen, and onto your walls. Your gallery will allow you to order prints and products directly from the professional printing lab I work with. But if you are looking for something specific, or want a custom designed gallery wall, shoot me a message!

No! I totally get that hiking isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. The point of eloping is doing whatever you want! So, if you don’t want to hike I’m not going to suggest any locations that would require it. Nature can be super accessible! Instead I’ll recommend spots we could drive up to or have other modes of transport available (helicopters, boats, etc.).

Yes! I actually require payment plans for all of my elopement packages. This is because we are actively planning + I’m actively working for you to make this thing perfect! So payments are spread out to cover the planning happening, and make it so there aren’t humongous payments to deal with right before your elopement (stresssssy).

Amazing question! The line between elopement and wedding is blurry, and it is truly up to you what to call your day. To me an elopement is more of a day where we are focused on the couple and a wedding is more of a day where we are focused on guests. If you want to bring guests, bring them! I’m here to support your decisions and make this easier.

I mostly capture elopements and adventure/couple focused small weddings. I typically do not take events over about 40 guests. Feel free to reach out if you want to discuss further!

Rain, snow, sleet, heat, I've done it all. If things are dangerous, we pivot to one of the many back-up plans I've created just in case. But for the most part, I recommend you embrace it! Weather is part of nature and create some bad-ass photos.
