I cannot wait to chat with you.

This is going to be epic.

What's Next?

I promise I am just as excited about this as you are, and as soon as I can I’ll email ya back! Just know I’m often off adventuring with couples or traveling to the next destination. If you haven’t heard from me within 24-48 hours, please don’t hesitate to reach out directly via [email protected] or call/text me at 240-753-2221.

In the meantime...

let's be instagram friends

Winter is the most slept-on season for Colorado el Winter is the most slept-on season for Colorado elopements – but it’s one of the coolest times to elope!

Colorado has stunning snowy scenery in the winter, and the most popular locations are usually less busy. Plus, there are activities you can only do in the winter, like skiing, snowmobiling, or sleigh rides.

But what about the cold?

Colorado does get quite chilly in the winter – but there are lots of ways to stay warm during your elopement! I’ve photographed lots of winter elopements and picked up some tricks along the way…

	•	Wear base layers under your wedding attire, like long underwear or thermal leggings. No one will be able to tell!
	•	Make fun outer layers and warm accessories part of your outfit – like fur capes, wool coats, and fun hats and scarves.
	•	Bring your warmest coats for traveling between locations, and just ditch them for photos!
	•	Pack a thermos with a hot drink (like coffee or hot chocolate) to keep your body temp up.
	•	Get a lot of hand warmers and put them everywhere!
	•	Plan some warm breaks in your elopement itinerary, like stopping at a coffee shop between activities.

Right now is the PERFECT time to start planning your Colorado elopement for this winter. Send me a message to start chatting!

Looking for an epic mountain venue for your elopem Looking for an epic mountain venue for your elopement or microwedding? Boy do I have one for you!

This new backcountry home in the San Juan Mountains is incredible. A luxury stay in the middle of the mountains, right at the base of world class trails for hiking and off-roading. It’s truly the perfect base for an adventure elopement!

The property has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and can sleep a max of 12 people. It’s truly a remote backcountry lodge – but there’s other housing options within 30 minutes if you want to host more guests (plus, the house has starlink internet to stay connected with everyone).

In the summer, you can reach the lodge directly with a high-clearance 4WD vehicle (which you can easily rent nearby). In the winter, the access is via ski-in/ski-out, snowmobile, or helicopter, and requires coordination with an experienced backcountry guide.

And the best part of all? You get 10% off this venue when you bring me along! Which means you just found your Colorado planner, photographer, and venue. You’re so close to planning your entire elopement!

It’s not too late to make this happen this summer – I have one more San Juan date open (August 31st). Check out the lodge, plus some incredible elopements I’ve shot in this area. And send me a message to start chatting!

One of the most common questions I get as an elope One of the most common questions I get as an elopement photographer is: “Do we have to hike for our elopement?”

And the answer is NO! Not if you don’t want to. There are so many stunning views that don’t require a trek. In fact, some of my favorite elopement spots are places you can drive right up to, or only require a short walk.

Plus, if you still want to get way out in the middle of nowhere, there are some fun alternatives to hiking you could try – like off-roading, horseback riding, snowmobiling, canoeing…even a sleigh ride! The most important thing is that your elopement day is fun and comfortable for you guys.

In fact, I took all of these elopement photos at locations that didn’t involve any hiking!
